Very striking! I love how the blocks seem lit from within.

Not only are the colors each gorgeous on their own, but they shine and shimmer because of the artistic way you placed them. I love the blocks that seem to be floating down, also. It's a stunning quilt.

I googled the pattern and found that it's difficult to find a place to buy the pattern. The creator sells her patterns to LQS by preference, because she likes to encourage us to buy a lot from them. The has dozens of wonderful patterns, not just this one. The link that worked for me was at www.creativequiltkits.com (I had Googled "Stacks 3 by whirligigs" and it was listed about 5 down from the top. The author's site shows all her patterns.)
Meanwhile, the colors in the original pattern are darker than the ones in Catsden's posting. I admire the original, but love the one in this post!

That is beautiful but looks so tedious to work on. Your color choices are amazing-love your workmanship. Thx for sharing.

What can I say?, except, so finely executed. WOW!

I had bought the pattern a few years ago. Can't remember where. The pattern calls for a brown background. I used black as I thought that it would make the colors pop more.
