We had a stained glass class last in our guild. The spinning star I made in class and the bells I made on my own.

Very, very, nice. This is one thing I have not tried yet. Maybe give it a go sometime soon. It seems that Christmas is a great holiday to use stained glass technique.

lin 09-24-2007 11:01 AM

WwwwwoW!!! Those are both just beautiful. What a great job you did on them. I've never tried that technique either. Yours make me want to give it a try. :)

DebJ 09-24-2007 12:08 PM

Alls I can say is WOW!!! Wonderful!!! I have done this once! want to do more...it was FUN!!!

nanabirdmo 09-24-2007 04:34 PM

oh my! these are real beauties. is it hard to do?

BDor 09-24-2007 06:02 PM

The bells was the Eleanor Burns Christmas at Bear's Paw Ranch book. You trace your pattern on steam-seam-2 and iron on your fabric then iron down to the pattern you have traced on your background fabric. You out line with quick bias tape(fusible) and that is your lead lines(black). It is a 1/4 in. wide.

I have had the book for 2 years and the stuff to do it but just never gave it a try until the class. It is easy. I want to do another one of the bell and put them all together for a table runner. But not by this Christmas.LOL

"stained glass class last" try saying that fast 3 times, heck I couldn't even read it slow one time :-) :-) :-)

Now off to find Eleanor Burns Christmas at Bear's Paw Ranch book, gotta learn how to do this.
