I used Barbara Henning's "The New Classics: Impressionist Stained Glass." You trace the pattern pieces onto steam a steam, iron these pieces to the fabrics you want, cut them out, adhere to black background fabric and quilt the details/background. The leading in these is actually the black background showing through.
