I guess what really had me down were the 8 points in the very center. They were NOT playing nice...
So, I ripped apart the very center, and stitched it back together. They're playing MUCH nicer now. :D :D Now, I'm totally in love with it!!! No idea how to quilt it yet... Thinking some wreath-like stuff, and 1/4" echo of the smaller diamonds (can you still call it "echo" if it's inside the diamonds??). Don't know about the squares and diamonds on the outside edge... hmmm ... needs some more thought. |

Just beautiful and the middle of the star looks great. I have done 2 stars which I gave one as a wedding gift and sold the other one. My big worry was the middle that it would not turn into a bowl or a tent. Your work is just super!!
