Hi Everyone

Here's my lastest project.

It's for christmas but not sure if i should make it into a tree skirt for the christmas tree or a table topper....mmmm.

One would be really easy the other will mean a bit of fiddling so it's work in progress at the moment until i decide.

Thought you would all like a peek at it so far :D

I like it a lot. If it were me, I would prefer to see it on a table, because there would be more opportunity to look at it closely. But either way, it will be a great addition to your Christmas decorations, and well done for being so far ahead.

I would love to see a tree skirt like that.

Evelynquilts 07-19-2009 03:23 PM

beautiful :-) ....

tlrnhi 07-19-2009 03:57 PM

I agree....on a table would be better, but, then again, it would make a great tree skirt.
I have the pattern for the Star Spin and haven't tried it yet...it scares me.

jacquemoe 07-19-2009 03:58 PM

Oh wow, that is too cool. Can I borrow it, forever?

I also have that pattern, my cousin is making it right now, so I'm going to wait until she understands it, then have her to help!

That's really gorgeous! Way too pretty to hide under the tree...

huggyface 07-19-2009 06:37 PM

nice!!!!!!!! what is the name of the pattern

Minda 07-19-2009 06:41 PM

Very nice!

kluedesigns 07-19-2009 06:43 PM

it looks great. if you have enough fabric make both - it would be a wonderful set to decorate the house during the holidays

Boston1954 07-19-2009 06:45 PM

You just floor me with your abilities. It looks like placemats all sitting in a circle. If you ever do one in shades of bright blue, let me know. I want to see it.

That is great! Table topper or treeskirt, either would be good. I've always admired that pattern.

Tree Skirt - very seasonally pleasing. Love the layout.

Very pretty. I would put it on the table for everyone to enjoy. Great job.

That is a beautiful WIP. I would make a table topper, but that is just me. If I could do that, I would want to see it. I would probably make another in non-Christmas fabrics for every day use. That is one gorgeous pattern.

grannypjb 07-21-2009 02:52 PM

Your work is absolutely wonderful. So many have the pattern but I have been unable to find it. Can someone give me a hint where it might be.

Susy 07-21-2009 02:57 PM

That is beautiful, whatever you decide make sure its not hidden by anything!

Nursesews 07-21-2009 04:02 PM

I remember you had another of this same pattern, in awe of both. What is that pattern?? You did a great job. :D

ChristineD 07-21-2009 06:46 PM

It's beautiful...would also like to know the pattern name.

Pretty! Can't wait to see it finished.

Sharon M 07-21-2009 07:10 PM

Oh soooo pretty, glad you decided on table topper. I would much prefer it being on a table if I were visiting, so much easier to look up close at it :D
Isn't it fun to be working on Christimas early :D

loulou1972 07-21-2009 10:35 PM

Hi Sharon

Yep i enjoy making the christmas things and because they take a littlle time to make have to plan early.

Beautiful. I see most agree with me - table topper. You will have to post a finished project picture.
