I love it. So do you just cut, piece the blocks and then lay them out to decide where to put them or is there a plan of where they go before you cut?

Great quilt and fabric choice. I'm amazed at your courage to FMQ such a big project for the first time. You did an amazing job and I love the quilt pattern.

Very pretty quilt.

You are too hard on yourself. It is lovely. The way you placed the blocks in great! Your quilting is fine too!

That is a beautiful quilt. It reminds you of Vincent Van Gogh's "Starry Starry Night" painting too. Gorgeous.

I had the Don McClean song stuck in my head the whole time I was laying out the blocks. I love that song. ;-) |
I love this quilt!! My favorite OBW yet!!! Wonderful fabric choice by your daughter and terrific work by you. The way you organized the blocks is absolutely stunning. I just might have to try one some day.

But overall, OBWs are a very serendipitous approach to quilt making, which is what makes it really fun. |
