Stars quilt for grandson
3 Attachment(s)
My 14-year-old grandson is shooting up like the proverbial weed. At over 6 feet tall, he's outgrown his Snake Paint quilt from a few years ago, in more ways than one.
Stars for Bo is made by a pattern in the Fall/Winter 2005 issue of BHG's Quilt Sampler, and is 88" x 105". It was an easy quilt to piece and good for using stash. I'm thinking of making it again, in pastels, for his younger sister. (I apologize for the sun spot--it was either sun in the morning, or wind in the afternoon.) Quilted with Glide on my Babylock Tiara and Janome 7700. That is beautiful. I also am working on a replacement quilt for one of my grandsons who is now 6"4".

Wonderful quilt, I am sure he will love it.

The snakes are great! I really like the pattern for each star!

Well the stars are perfect for a young man. But I really like that snake quilt too.
|
This young man will enjoy your quilt made just for him a very long time. What a perfect coloration and pattern.
|
ah but that lovely sunshine shows up the great quilting very well. Love the quilts!!!
|
Both are beautiful!
|
I bet he won't part with the snake quilt but will love the replacement. You're a good grandma.
