Congratulations on a well-matched quilt. I love how the cornerstones and binding pull all the colors of the quilt together to bring it to a wonderful finish. I also love how you used a darker blue vs. black sashing. Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations on completing your first quilt! You did a fantastic job on designing. The blue was the perfect choice for the sashing and borders, partly because blue if my favorite color, but also because it doesn't overshadow the blocks and your great work. It's strong and vibrant, without being dominating. Excellent quilt!
Well done! It is a beautiful quilt!
You did a fantastic job! Initially I thought your last border was actually the binding! I love rainbows and I love your first quilt!
very pretty and vibrant!
Just terrific, great job and thank you for sharing
Have a Blessed day Ellen |
This is a great quilt. If you have started another you are a quilter for life. If you are ready to quit (after all the hard work) then you are not a true quilter. My bet is you have another in the works already
what a cheerful quilt. you did a wonderful job.
Great idea for the cornerstones. I saw this when it was just the blocks & you were asking advice on the sashing. It came out just gorgeous! Now to the quilting! What have you decided to do with that?
P.S. my suggestion would be to send it to Charisma to quilt.
You've got the gift - fantastic job!
You did a fantastic job on your quilt, Whateverslovely! You can pick out colors for me anyday!
Absoluty amazing. Wow. And that you drafted all the blocks yourself. Most quilts I make without a pattern don't turn out too well.
No one would guess that this is a first quilt. Awesome job.
Neat top! I like the the colors and your use of solid looking fabrics.

beautiful quilt. i applaud your courage in striking out on your own for a first quilt. my first quilt was a shoo fly quilt done for one of my children, didn't get finished for her, but did for her daughter. thank goodness my current quilts aren't taking me so long
It is clear that you have a talent for doing your own thing. Beautiful.
