Start of a beaded quilt
 

Starting a challenge for our quilt guild chapter--due next April so lots of time to work on it. The dimensions are 22 inches long and up to 30 inches wide--odd size but I think I can make it work. I am using vintage linen crazy pieced for the background and playing with beading and embroidery. Fun so far.

Your piece is going to be beautiful! I am an avid crazy quilter, and love all the delicate embroidery and beading. Are you going to do any ribbon embroidery? Hope you will post more pictures as you go along.

This is going to be stunning. I recently saw something like this, but not as beautiful, framed behind an old window pane and hung on an entry wall. Took my breath away. This is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I love your piece. The beading and embroidery are beautiful. I am taking classes starting this month to learn how to do beading and other cool embellishments with my sewing machine. hope one day i can do this.
