start of a wall hanging

I love dragon pix, so I bought this traditional dragon thru Amazon. this is as far as I have gotten with it. I am considering whether I want any further borders. Of course, I used the traditional folded ribbon for one border, but the designed the cornerstones.

love it. the borders looks great with the dragon

You're making quick progress!
unfortunately, the progress was not quick. I had to do the simple, inner border 3 times because I kept messing it up. the complex border went more rapidly....go figure.
I like what you did with the cornerstones.
I have that panel, was wondering what to do with it. Your Ideal is Great. Nice looking, Love it.
nicely done
Coming along great!

The borders fit so perfectly with your dragon! Looking pretty cool!

My granddaughter loves dragons.

I love those cornerstones - and your fabric choices are perfect for that dragon. Beautiful!
I think is wonderful as is - no need for more!
Great job!!!
That's beautiful! We love dragons too and I have seen those panels before. Since it's a wall hanging, I think the size is perfect. Where are you planning on hanging it?
Here's a pic of one that I made that my son insisted was his before I could finish it: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t218264.html |
I also like it just like it is. Very pretty.
Wow! Beautiful! Love the fabrics you used with the panel...just perfect. I'd be tempted to stop w/o more borders.
thank you all. alienquilter, thanks for sharing your dragon quilt. I have decided to move on to quilting it with no added borders.

Fantastic! I can't let my DGS see this! He loves dragons..can tell you if Korean, Japanese, etc. Had to embroider cool dragon on his 'hoodie' for xmas. Is yours a panel?
