That part there measures 36 1/2" sq. There are 4 borders and it will finish at 58 1/2" square. Its going to be a table topper.
I am working on the pieced border now, which is the second border. Its pretty cool! I have never done one like this. Its just 1/4 square triangles alternated one up one down.
