Am now a snowbird down here in Florida (not that it is warm) and finally got the machine out after all the family returned to their homes (back in cold Jersey)
This is what I have been up to the last couple days. I have the teacups completed and the teapot..now have to go through the stash and find something for the border....one border is already together .... made from all the pieces of the cup and pot... It will have three borders and a piping........will check in later when it's completed.....just love this PP..... MaryJane I AM CALLING IT..."TEA FOR 9" |

OMG..........no one noticed............my "TEA FOR 9" is having a name change.
It is now called............"TEAS FOR 8" How can one person work on something for three nights and then count them wrong? Well, I did. If nine ladies come for tea, I will have to use one old cup and saucer !!!!!! |
Oh good. I could use a nice cup of something hot. Honey and lemon for me. Do you have any cookies?
|
This is so adorable. Did you draw these blocks?
My DD and I both love tea sets. Apparently her youngest does too. I bought her one that steams and whistles and she loves it. :-D |

I bought her one that steams and whistles and she loves it. :-D I did all those in three nights..and that was with a bit (a good bit) of pulling out some stitches. If you would like the pattern, I can copy it and I will copy the pp patterns for the cups and tea pot. If you want it, PM me with your address and I will send them out to you. MaryJane |
I love that! Are you making it a table topper for teas? I really like it!
Hugs, Sharon |

Hugs, Sharon tea-table-topper. The pattern makes it a 23"x25"...but another border or two (and an extra 1" on the sides) would give you a nice square cloth. |
Very cute. Always wanted to make tea cups and pots.
|
Those are sew cute! Love the blues! Have to get at my pping.
|
I love your Tea set!!!
|
Very nice!! Great job!! I love the paper pieced teapots & cups! I paper pieced a teapot & teacups & used them on the pockets of my tote bag. Your color selection is very nice!! :D
|

Still have to sandwich it and put the binding on.......will get to that point before going on a cruise in early February..I like to take some hand work along with me. It really was a fun project. "Tea for 8" |

Gosh---those are so cute. And I guess as cold as it is you could use a hot cup of tea!

That is just gorgeous. I don't PP, but may start! My DIL has a teacup collection from places around the world she has traveled and this especially in the blues would be perfect for my ex-Navy girl. Thanks for sharing.

  It may take a few days as my printer here in Florida does not have a copier and I will have to get out to get them copied. Pattern was given to me so I don't know from where it originated. MaryJane |
