If your dh does not like this, mine would. He is a train nut also. As to other inquiries re train fabric. Very hard to come by. It seems fabvric designers prefer other things then trains. Probasbly not as old as those of us who grew up with lots of trains everywhere.

He loved the quilt!! I also made him an apron to wear when working on his railroad - It was tans with pockets made from the steam trains border fabric and ties from the railroad track fabric. He was in awe!!
