Hello, I just purchased a "new- used" Kenmore sewing machine from Sugar Pumpkin. It works Great!!! Here are some of my stitches that I got to practice doing.
|
LMAO, I do that every time I get a new machine. I thought I was the only one.
|
Same here. A good way to learn your machine though.
|
great stitches, looks like it will be a great machine to do some playing on. a friend used all her fun stitches to quilt a quilt of just squares, it looked really cute.
|
Awwww you quilters are toooo smart! I've never thought of doing that . . . but I will! Maybe that'll encourage me to DO some of those stitches on something! Got all the bells and whistles and only go forward and backwards! :(
Thanks |
WOW you have a lot of stitches to choose from!!!

no your not the only one..i did that too! i even went so far as to elongate and widen the stitches..to also see what they will look like. and since my janome 6000 is computerized, i wrote down the setting next to the stiches that i liked in magic marker! |
Wow, looks like a great machine! Have lots of fun with it!
|
 Never thought to do that  Maybe I will try that when I get a few spare moments
Thanks for the tip  |
If you ever need feet for it you can use the janome parts... since they are made by the same company. Both of mine are Kenmore's and i love the stitch options on it.
That was a great way to get used to your new machine! |
Ooooo lots of nice stitches :D:D:D
|
I also do that and keep it handy to refer to it when I want to make some embroidery on something. I am a visual person and it helps me a lot to see it made up. I stitched mine from one to what ever on my old bernina 830 and taped it to the inside of the accessories box. I never use that machine anymore. I should sell her. She is a real work horse.
The new bernina has too many to do this with. |
Wow, you've been really busy with your new/used machine!
Being another visual person, I think this is a great idea and may do it for my own new/used machine. Have you decided on what your first project will be with the new machine? |
Yay! I'm glad you like it! I hope Lola treats you as well as she did me :) She's a wonderful machine!
She has a lot of stitch features. I don't think I used half of them! I wish you two a wonderful life together :D Give her a hug for me! |

|
