I used my new Janome 12000 to quilt this. I took designs and mostly did the outline on the quilt. Embrodiering the whole design is too much with the batting to work with. Some of them worked but not all. It knots up, and makes a terrible mess. It also makes the quilt too stiff.
But this the first one on my new Janome for the BF's granddaughter. It was fun doing it, watching the machine do it's thing, and just "WOWing" all it can do. |
Beautiful, I just do a large stipple or FMQ or a large meandering. Makes the quilt feel softer and more comfortable. I think too close of a stitch or too many make them feel stiff and not as comfortable. Just me.
