I know alot of my friends in the chat room were aware of a Strip Round Robin that I was involved in with my Guild Group here in the UK.
Well we all received our strips back after a long 8 months wait & here is what I have done with mine. Others in my group made theirs into bags & wall hangings - however I decided to add wider sashing in between each of the strips & plan I say that with tongue in cheek - a quilt of some description ONE DAY LOL. Oh, I really like that. Is this the way it was sent to you or you joined it...I'm a bit confused

We all started out with 10 FQ's each and made our own strip using any technique we wanted to. Then we passed it onto the next person on our list & thats where we had to stick to the recipe of which technique was to be used. Every month we would recieve a new bag with the strip to work on & then the following month pass it on again. When we got them back we were told to do whatever we wished with the strips, so I put the blue sashing between mine. I had planned to arrange mine so they would make a nice wall hanging. Well as you can see I have made it into a small top. I am hoping to add to it so it will adventually make a nice top for my spare room. Let me know if you are interested in the details. Tisha |
