Study in Black, Grey & Fuschia
6 Attachment(s)
Finished this up last night ... it's for my niece. She likes blacks & greys and we needed a zinger - fuschia. The pattern is "Study in Black & White" designed by Julie Popa, from Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting, March/April 2008.
The quilting is a combination of freehand (feathered rectangle, curliques, wandering ribbons & curls) and Qbot designs 'Oodles of Doodles' (blocks, borders, corners) by Patricia Ritter from Digi-Tech Designs. Going to do another one in greys & eggplant for my middlest :) Top went together quite quickly - was fun and fast! |
She will love it ! Great job :)

Just lovely, the quilting perfectly sets off all your work and the colors are just smashing...

Beautiful quilt!
You know, I have heard several people comment on here that they do not like gray fabric because it is too dull or boring or whatever. But I LOVE what gray fabric does to other colors! I just make them stand out SO much better! I love your quilt! |
 Just Beautiful. She will love it. BrendaK

This is just beautiful. Grey has a place in the quilting world! I just grey for the first time in a quilt and it was the perfect accent color!
