Ooh... I am sorry but I seem to have started a little controversy here. In the UK, bunting is made from triangles (or other shapes) sewn together and sewn between bunting tape. The tree is made from equilateral triangles which are stuffed with soft toy stuffing and then the corners are joined together to create the tree shape.
Bunting is used in the UK for celebrations, nurseries and can be hung in and outdoors. There is no limit to the colours and patterns you can use, as you can see from some bunting I made from an old people's group last year. [ATTACH=CONFIG]375899[/ATTACH] |
