Looks neat!
|
Very pretty stuff!
|
I am making the blue one that is hanging. It is fairly easy.
|
I love swedish weaving and have done about 25 throws and given all away but one black one that i kept. I have ordered a Christma swedish weave book and I was so happy to find it. I tried looking and they were not in publication anymore. These were brought back.

Very pretty!
|
Is Swedish weaving the same as Swedish hucking? I have some towels made by my grandmother and they look somewhat like the picture.
|
The fabric is Huck Toweling. I have done a lot of Swedish
weaving in the past and have a WIP that has been hanging around for about 20 years. |
Very pretty!
Is it done with cotton yarn? It looks difficult to do. Do you use a loom? |
yes you use yard and no it is not hard. Just learning to read the pattern. No a loom is not necessary. Just 3 packs of yard some monk's cloth and a needles is all that is necessary. This particular book can be found for sale on Ebay.

Clotilde has a section of Monk cloth just an fyi. Jade
