Nikki, Sent me her OWl to be quilted with requests of :
Clouds in the background Wood grain on branch feathers in the owl I add a few extras just for texture....quilted a simple stipple in the last border. I also added a vein to each leaf. I wanted to break up the feathers...so I quilted rounded edges in the blue areas..and more of a pointed edge in the body..adds a bit of texture and breaks it apart. This is an adorable quilt...she used fabrics from Connecting threads....This is her own pattern. I quilted this on my INNOVA all free hand..no pantographs or computer quilting. Thanks for looking. back |
