Very beautiful and it brought another idea to mind, a giant heart done with weaving strips. Bet that would look great too. Keeping that idea on the back burner.

Yes...I did trapunto on the heart...so it has two layers of polydown batting...and the rest of the quilt I used a flat batting .....to make the heart "POP" out. The flatter batting is soy batting. It has the same loft as w&n but it is a bit softer. |
