This is a beautiful pattern. My son would love a moose quilt. Was it hard to do? It is on sale now at http://www.craftconn.com/Main.asp?Ta...roductID=26394

Saw this quote after my question. I should have read through the whole thread but I was excited to see something I had been looking at.
Yours is beautiful! So it's applique? I would have to use my home machine to quilt it, and would like to make it into a larger quilt. Any thoughts?

That's hard to answer, because I started it about 7 weeks ago, got as far as making the transparent overlay, copying all the pieces onto the fusible and fused to fabric (but not cut out) and then I had to put it aside for about 6 weeks because other things needed to get done first. Cutting out all the pieces always takes some time, but it can be done while watching TV. Actually layering the applique went very quickly - only a few hours I think - and quilting it was also pretty quick on my longarm. If I were to do it all in one motion, beginning to end without stopping, I think it could easily be done in two days. I'm really surprised at how easy these things are to make.
