You did a marvelous job on every front..I just finished one on my 770, using walking foot and #4 stitch to make the serpentine pattern. Do you happen to remember your length and width settings? I used 2.50 wide and 5.0 long, pieced the lines the width of the left side of the walking foot apart...I love the final product but some of the stitching was a little wonky...would love to know your experience with this.

Congratulations on your wonderfully designed quilt - I really like how you've used bright batiks in your pattern and the quilting is lovely. I'm intrigued by your use of the serpentine stitch to quilt and will be playing with that idea myself! Thanks for sharing :)

Hello, Thank you!! I have what I used saved in my machine favorites folder. I used stitch #1398, 5.5 stitch width 28.0 length. I too used the the width of my walking foot. Yes, at times it does get a little wonky. I made sure to start each row at the beginning of the stitching pattern on the screen. I made probably 6 example blocks before I decided on the pattern. Being new to the machine I wanted to make sure I had a firm plan before starting. Thanks for asking.

I purchased a pattern called Misty Mountains Quilt. The pattern was for one large mountain block that was 60x60 quilt. I then rescaled the pattern to make the 20 - 13" blocks. I then added the framing to each block. It brought back some math skills that I thought I would never use. LOL. Thanks for asking.
