Sunburst Sling Purse
 

I made this purse yesterday from a new pattern I purchased last Friday when my sister and I went to a few quilt shops in Texas. The pattern is by Jen Giddens and is called the Sunburst Sling sewing pattern. I went together pretty smoothly. I almost wished I'd used brighter, summery fabrics but I'm still pleased with the result. This bag is oversized.

That is a beautiful bag. You did a wonderful job fussy cutting the batik to showcase the flowers on the top section. AND, I just love your cool colors!
