Nice job! And see how all those corners match. I'm getting more interested in joining in. Especially if mine would come out as well. Are you going to sash each group of 16, or have you gotten that far yet :?:
|
Yes on sashingbetween each 16. I plan on a different color [solid] between, and black or white across under each row.

wow, you did good!!! I've been trying to finish this baby quilt forever now. I suppose I got bored and played around with others stuff..this baby is going to be crawling if I don't hurry it up. I loved my 3" square swap too! Thanks Ladies!!!

Ruth your Singer looks like the one of my grandmother's that my sister still uses. Do you put different disks inthe top to make fancy stitches? BTW, like your quilt.

Ruth,
It looks like you're having way too much fun. Looking forward to more pics. That is going to be a bright cheerful quilt! |
Yes, That is the famous Singer slant needle 401A. It has built in stitches as well as cams, It has a buttonholer and I have a monogrammer. It is very heavy all metal. I t 's great for machine quilting, If I could only do it.
It came out in the 50's. My grams was my 1926 Singer. I can't say no to a singer they want to sell for under $5; :D They need a good home. |
