Scrappy and Sweet Bento Box for a friend. Made entirely from my stash, more of a hoard, really. My First Assistant and Quality Inspector welcomes you!

Mrs. Finch, I like your scrappy Bento Box. I have this pattern, and have never made it. You have inspired me to try it.

When you pulled from your stash, did you go through the colors and hand select the colors you thought went well together, or did you just put anything and everything in?

I have yet to make a true scrappy quilt, I usually do a color scheme. I would love to know your thought process in choosing which scraps. Thanks!

I haven't either. I will put it on my todoit list. It's already about a mile long, whatever!
I also agree that your colours go well together. That is an area I struggle with at times in scrappy quilts.

Thanks for the kind comments. Girlfriend asked about color combinations - my friend's living room in mauve, white/cream, and blue was the inspiration, since I made it for her. I call it scrappy because I did not have very much of some of the fabrics.
