Made this tote bag, pattern from Jenny @ MSQC, have had these 2 and 2 more dresden plates hanging in my closet 4ever! I think they were from a Moda charm pack, Me and My Sister, love these fabrics! Fun sewing!

Do you remember what the bag was called? I love the bee and the pockets inside. Would love to make one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you go to Jenny's tutorials, it's the one where she makes 3 totes out of a charm pack, very basic instructions, then you can make whatever size you want, add pockets, etc. Mine is much bigger than those, and I added the pocket. Hope this helps!

The colors of the dresden are so bright and colorful, and of course, LOVE that bee!

when I am making a tricky block or testing an odd color combo, I often make just one block to try it out. If it isn't right for the quilt, I save the block and use them on tote bags. Even an odd color combo can be pulled together with banding, straps or pockets. I use them as 'gift wrapping' and people love it. Saves me on wrapping paper and a good way to test things out (don't feel that I am wasting anything).
