The trick for me to make the stretchy behave was flannel backing. It didn't move and it kind of "stuck" to the front part and framed it up. I used the whole t-shirt in making this...so the different colors are from the t-shirts themselves. I've got to make one more, so hopefully it comes out as good as this one...

I would like to try one with my kids' cloths when they are little.
May I ask you ome question how to make this? Did you sandwitch the batting between flannels and the top? Do I need to use the fusing backing for the bakcside of the quilt top? How do the seamallowance ( T-shirt edge) go, I am afraid if thy rolls up. Or spray basted??? Pleae advise!! Help me!! Panda |
