This t-shirt quilt is 80" x 100" and has pieces from about 45 different soccer shirts as well as about 85 patches. It is the largest I've done and was a lot of fun. It weighs in at 8 pounds.

What a great job!! I love the border---is that where the rest of the Tee shirts are?

You did a beautiful job on it!!! I love how you did the border with the patches!!! :D

The border is regular cotton fabric. I ask about the person who is getting the quilt and try to get something that reflects them. The patches are alternated one on one side - the next on the other. No other quilting is needed in the border. The part of the shirt I don't use generally goes in the trash.

Very nice. It took me a while to realize that you're showing us pics of the front and the back both. This quilt is reversible isn't it? Wonderful job. It must have been hard to work with something so big and heavy.

Cool quilt, great idea with the patches.

How COOL! The t-shirts look very balanced and I know that's a hard thing to do when mixing large graphics/logos & numbers. AWESOME JOB!
Also, i"ve not seen a border like yours, what a FANTASTIC idea!!! LOVE IT :!: :!: :!:

Wow! That's one of the nicest T-shirt quilts I've ever seen. I love the patches. What a treasure to the lucky soccer player!

I'm a little behind! This is simply beautiful, I also make t shirt quilts but this one is superior! Great job!

I have approx 48 t shirts for one of my kids to make a quilt. I was wondering if you have any tips to making it reversible. How do you get the front and back even when quilting ? Was it quilted on a long arm machine ? Did you use batting?

My daughter played 4 years of college soccer and I have tons of shirts for her.

The shirts are minimum of 16" wide...any tips/advice you have would be appreciated..

I love your quilt! I've been wanting to do one of those for my son, but haven't gotten the nerve yet. But I have learned a lot here, and plan to start sometime soon.
