Just finished this quilt and gave to grandson for his high school graduation yesterday. He has aspirations to become a fireman and has been and fire cadet for the past 4 years.

Here is a pillow designed and made by his favorite little sister, she is only 11 but loves sewing and has been at it for 4 years now.

Love the quilt, nicely done. I have one question...did you use fleece on the back, and if so did you use any batting?

I used a mid weight flannel. His mother also wanted batting as he likes lots of warmth.
