I've never seen that pattern for a t-shirt quilt before, and I love it! I was very touched by the comment about Emma. My heart goes out to her and her family.

I used a fusible interfacing for the stabilizer. It worked great! Thanks for all the comments on what I call "the flippers" All you do is sew a 2 inch square face down across the corner, trim off the outter edge at the seam allowance and flip the fabric over and iron. That makes the "snowball"
Anyone is welcome to use my "pattern". I sort of made it up as I went. The piano keys have the interfacing on them too. For the sashings, I just used a 2 inch strip of Dream Cotton. It worked really nice with the t-shirt fabric. I hope I have answered all of your questions here. Thanks for all the nice comments!
