Table Runner & Hot Pads
4 Attachment(s)
I don't know where the time has flown & I feel like I haven't accomplished much this year. I've been busy with crocheting & knitting projects that is has taken too much time from my quilting. BUT ... I did make a table runner using batiks for my daughter and two hot pads for myself from my scraps. The runner is reversible. I'm still working on my car quilt no. 4 because it got put on the back burner from doing other projects.

I know what you mean weasier. I don't have half of the things done I wanted to by now. :~( Between spring clean-up outside and inside, I haven't had all that much time for anything.
I really like your table runner. I bet your daughter will love it. |
Very pretty! Love your hot pads!

|
Love your table runner and hot pads. Time does fly faster than we all want it too.
|
Very pretty, nice job!

Lucky daughter! The table runner looks fantastic. I have to say I just love your straight line quilting. It compliments your quilt pattern so nicely. I like the green/blue batik fabric for the backing. She will enjoy showing off both sides.
I recognize the cherry fabric in your hot pads. You are doing great using up your scraps. Thanks for posting your projects for us to enjoy! |
Love your runner and hot pads, but would also love to see a picture of the quilt on the table behind it. I love scrappy anything. Is the quilt made using the same block pattern as the hot pads? Will you please post a picture of the quilt?
|
Very nice job!

|

Hi Just Jan, Here's the photo of the quilt runner on the table behind the dining table.
I'm wondering if its the pattern where you string piece two blocks, lay them together face to face in opposite directions, sew around edge and then cut once diagonally? |

To answer your question about linking to e-bay ... I haven't a clue why it is doing that on my post. I don't even buy on e-bay.

Thanks Weasie, that's very pretty, but not the one I'm asking about. It looks like a quilt that's folded or rolled up next to a skein of yarn, in the back of the second pix in your first post. From what I can see it looks like a scrappy pinwheel or something similar to your potholders. Thanks. Jan
