Table runners finished in time for gifting. Yeah!

The Spicy Spiral is for my GD - the gold matches her b'day apron. It was easy and turned out great. THe picture is brighter than the runner. My camera or computer intensifies the pinks for some reason. The sunflower one is for my DIL who is sunflower obsessed. It does lay flat - I just threw it down for pictures - Christmas was coming quickly.

Love your runners. Some happy gals will be pleased. I have the spicy spiral ruler and pattern, I think I have to go for it and make one. Thanks for posting yours, you have inspired me.
take care and happy new year |
Both runners are beautiful...I really like the first one.

I really want to get some runners done this year. Yours are lovely. Hope mine turn out as well.

Thank you. My next SS needs to done by January 13th and will run from burgundy to cream through a tan genre - not pink. The hardest part is choosing 8 fabrics. The one above was all from my stash, but I won't be as lucky with burgundy. I want to do it with the dark on one side and the light on the other - not in the center. I may be able to use that same floral on black as a starter. Such fun!
I thought binding those pointed corners would be hard, but they went well. I don't care for the turned and topstitched look for me though that's what my pattern called for. To each her own. |
Your table runners are lovely! The spicy spiral is just awesome...great job. I love sunflowers too and really like the runner.
Thanks for sharing your great work! |
