These are some table runners I finished tonight. The poinsettia one is for my mother. She doesn't decorate much for Christmas but has my grandmothers antique round dining table and I thought the shape would be good for it. I'm giving it to her now. The other two are just some I really like. The poinsettia and loud colored batik were made using the Pellon Quilters Grid. Makes things line up nice and neat.

Beautiful runners! I love your fabrics in all of them. The poinsettia is stunning!

I like the window effect of your poinsettia topper. I have a roundtable and I agree it will be perfect. The other two are really nice, too!

Really nice! I love the pointsettia-the shape is really unique-did you use a pattern? Is it a whole piece with the shashing sewn on top or did you fussy-cut the pointsettia print and make your own arrangement pieced with the sashing?

I did use a pattern. It's called "A Few Pointers" by Crooked Nickel Quilt Designs. I just cut the fabric and strips according to the pattern directions. The Pellon Quilters Grid makes it really easy and fast. You iron the pieces to the grid and then sew each seam with 1/4 inch seam. Once all the seams are sewn it's finished. I like it because the seams line up perfect which just piecing doesn't always do. It makes it a bit stiffer than just piecing but it's fine for something on a table. I just stitched in the ditch to quilt it all together and bound like normal. The pattern says use flannel but I didn't have any so I just used some Warm and Natural that I had. I didn't like it at all until I saw the picture of it. It's amazing how different things look in a picture compared to just looking at them. The pattern, and others they have, can be found at the following link:

The loud colored batik is also one of their patterns called "A Simple Point". I added an outside border to it because I wanted it to be a little larger.
