Table topper done-Pat Sloan pattern I changed a bit
1 Attachment(s)
Pat Sloan came to our guild and this is my adapted version of her "Little Bluebird" pattern. We learned quite a few tips about raw edge applique, and had a great time. My challenge to myself was to use invisible thread for the top and orange bobbin thread. It worked out well. I haven't done much FMQ and none this dense, so it was an experiment. Now that I know it's possible, I can move on to other projects.

That's really pretty. I saw her today on Sewing with Nancy. She was working on a felted wool pincushion.
