It takes practice to bind those angles,and I can't really tell you.Just sort of ease them around ,making little tucks...

The fabric is pre printed...the topper is just a square and I angled the corners

I *think* I saw that fabric at Walmart yesterday - I bought one of the pumpkin prints from that line but didn't think to get that print! I better go back and pick that print up (if indeed it is what I saw yesterday although I think it was - it looks like the one I saw or at least very similar!) I wasn't thinking placemats when I was in the store but after seeing yours I think I should be!!
