I had to make a table topper for a customer who had an old one similiar to these. So these are the ones I came up with, she just has to choose which color combo she likes the best.
As you all know, I hate using templates, so I sketched out the pattern right on my fabric, cut it out, and this is what happened when I put them together.Had a couple of tweaks with seam allowance since I didn't measure anything!!!!

These are great! I bought two very similar ones at a yard sale just to get the pattern! I haven't made anymore yet but am using the two I bought! LOL Good job....These that I have didn't have any batting in them and were not quilted! they were edged with lace... I like yours alot!

Woo-Hoo!! Go Tricia!!!! Those are awesome!!

So, is it snowing there yet??

triciasquilts 08-17-2007 09:57 AM

Thank you, thank you. I did put batting in mine, just a lightweight 4 oz.

Carla, no its not snowing yet, but people are praying for it because of all the fires. I am not ready for winter just yet......but I'm hating this smoke.

I like them both. avialable on ebay store? You do really nice work

triciasquilts 08-20-2007 11:48 AM

Well, Ruth, I sold the green and blue one already!! The other one will probably be listed (if I don't sell it first) in my store when I get back from vacation. I've been trying not to have alot on there right now, so I don't have too much to deal with while I'm away. (I will have to depend on my husband to ship items for me!!!!)
But if anyone is interested in the other one, I will offer it for $16 plus $4 shipping. Just pm me your em addy and I can send an invoice out to you thru paypal or you can also send me a check or MO.
Thank you to everyone who likes these!!!

Tricia I love the little table toppers you've posted here. The minute I saw them I knew I had to share some placemats my sister bought for me years and years ago. You can tell they were well loved by the ragged edges. My daughters put them on the table every night. They did make our meals much sunnier!
See, they're just like yours but different!

Oh, Yvonne, I love those!!! They are the cutest thing I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing.

triciasquilts those are very pretty! i think its awesome you can do that without templates!!

Yvonne, the girls got all excited when they saw your placemat. i had bought them some almost identical to those a couple years ago at a garage sale. they use them on their little table and chair set when they have tea parties with their babies.
