Those are adorable!! :D Are they difficult to make? I keep thinking I would like to make some too, but am not sure if I could manage as nicely as you do!! Great work.

I guess I must have made at least 30 of these bags in the past couple of years. I think they're quite simple to make as long as you follow the steps in the pattern. There is a bit of sewing through some thick seams, but if that doesn't bother your machine, you should be ok. The original pattern calls for 4 fat quarters but I don't bother with the inside pockets, so it only takes 3 fat quarters. Many quilters are familiar with the Wonder Wallet from the same designer. It's even quicker to make and a perfect compliment to these bags. I'll be making some of them soon too. Check my blog in a couple of days and I'll show you them.

The way I do zippers is to baste the opening together then open the seam in the back. Lay and pin the zipper to the back and top stich on the front so you can make the stitching perfect. remove the basting and you have a perfectly inserted zipper.
