Yes, if you wish, but maybe you'd like to try a table runner or something and then you'd have a piece of each quilt you made for someone special, and it would always talk to you and tell a story when they ask about this part or this part, that is the best thing about the selvages, they have a beauty of their own.
Talk to ya soon, Threads (Tina) [email protected] |
Hello, yes you could if your weren't going to use them. But maybe you'd want to make a table runner or palcemats. Then you'd always have a piece of the quilts you made and it would be a topic of conversation at the table and you'd always have a story to tell of that particular person. They are really fun to work with. They have so many categories and color sections, and are very friendly to work with.
Have a great day. threads (Tina) [email protected] |
going to have to save those selvages, now! It is a fun quilt that you made!

What a clever use of selvages, beauty from the trash bin.

The first time I heard of using selvages to make a quilt, I thought why? Then I saw the first one at a quilt show this spring. It was done by a friend of mine. I thought it was fabulous. I love yours, too. It just works.
