Tea Cosy Fund Raiser for Cancer Council

9 Attachment(s)
This year in conjunction with The Biggest Morning Tea (a fundraiser for the Cancer Council) my work hosted an exhibition of tea cosies.

It was a fun competition with entries from kids groups to local craft groups with the tea cosies being sold to raise funds for cancer research.

There were cosies of every description including a beautiful wooden one.

Thanks for sharing the pictures of the tea cozies. Really loved all the owls.

You did a great job on your projects.

I love the tea cozies! I made one once, for a friend in Australia. It was like a little aran sweater for a teapot.

That's quite an exhibition. I've never seen such creative tea coseys.

Those are all adorable. I have never seen so many different ones. I love my little tea pots.

They aren't my projects Grandma Peg. They were made by lots of different people from kids to grandmas.

The world of tea cosies is certainly 'out there'. I think there's something comforting about tea-cosies, perhaps it's because I am English. My Nan used to have quite a few....that one with the flowers out the top is amazing. Thanks Deecee you brightened my very dismal day,

Glad I could brighten it for you earthwalker.

I must admit I was amazed at the number of people who came to see the cosies. Most were sold with some being purchased and re-donated to the cause to go on sale again.

There are some novel tea cosies there.
