Happy Holidays everyone. I have been making some Tea Sachets for friends' stockings for Christmas and thought I would show you. Perhaps these could also be used for coupons, first aid items (note my matching purple bandaids inserted into the wallet in photo #1), pictures, and other somewhat flat items. They are quick, easy, fun and useful. I've already given a few away and they were well received. They are closed with magnetic clasps, but I think I will switch to velcro for economic reasons.
These take exactly 1 FQ with basically NO waste. Thanks for looking. Pattern is called - Tea Satchel by Cole Creations, 2010. I got it at the Pacific Int'l Quilt show. Inside - ordered by a purple afficionado Folded up - one of my favorite fabrics Another folded up |
