I borrowed AnnaKs idea on another post for "goodie bags" minus the drawstrings to put potted plants in for teacher gifts. I think they are really cute. I sat the pot in a plastic sandwich bag.

As a teacher myself, I can say they will LOVE this!!!

awesome gift! My DD is a teacher, and she got a potted plant..a mexican sunflower about 3 years ago..i am still getting seeds off it each year and planting it every year here in michigan! for me, it was the gift that keeps on giving!

Thanks Ditter43, that's probably the first time I've been at the head of the class, lol. I made those for my grand-childrens teachers. We always try to come up with something homemade.

I'm a teacher and I'd love to receive something like this! In 7.5 years of teaching I've only ever gotten one gift and I treasure it dearly!! I do have highschoolers (at risk youth) so I totally understand.
