Teeny-tiny quilt

Hey all,
Here's a quiltlet for a fundraiser that one of our local non-profit galleries puts on every other year. Artwork submitted to the fundraiser has to be 3" or smaller in all dimensions. The quilt and stand measure 3"x2"x3". The quilt itself is approx. 2.5" x 2.75". 2nd photo shows the back with the hanging sleeve. Thanks for looking,
Rob

Very cute and a lovely little stand for it! Did you make the stand too?

osewme 10-01-2017 09:37 AM

Totally awesome. My fingers are too fat to make such small things. :D

Great Job! I'd love a mini quilt for my desk. That's tiny. Like the stand too, did you make it also?

Awesome Rob

Thanks everyone.

For those who asked about the stand- yes I made stand. It's resin mixed with glitter for the base, and aluminum tubing for the uprights.

Wow.. so tiny! Is it hand stitched? My poor fingers can't do that fine of work!

Claire123 10-01-2017 08:41 PM

Nice job on your binding! What a challenge making something so small.

the binding and the sleeve are hand stitched to the back, the rest is machine stitched.

This is amazing. What a unique project. I am drawn to the modern feel of the piece. And, what a cute little stand. I could see changing out the tiny pieces of art all the time. You'd never tire of it. Thanks for sharing.

BSKTLOFR-QUILTER 11-29-2018 12:55 PM

Really nice. Stand really shows the quilt off. Good job.
