Temecula, Ca Quilt Show - October 2012

I tried to post this shortly after I got back from visiting my daughter in California but my helper 'Kimo' expressed his annoyance at my having let him at home by waiting until I had typed out a long description of the day and added photos, then sat on my keyboard and deleated everything.... so this is the appreviated version. Saw lovely quilts & had a nice day wandering in old town with my daughter. This was an unplanned trip and we happened unpon the show on our way to have dinner with family in San Diego.

Southern California....Temecula is in Riverside County. My husband was raised in that part of California. While I was raised in the Central part on the coast.

Beautiful quilts. I love outdoor shows, especially on a bright sunny day. I'll bet you had a wonderful time.

I love seeing quilts outdoors strung up on the clotheslines - I have a certain respect for the "old ways" I guess. Thanks for sharing your unexpected moment--and these great quilts!

Love to see quilts show pictures. I miss Old Town and San Diego. My son was stationed in San Diego & Coronoda Island for seven years. Went every year. Hope you had a chance to visit Seaport Port Village which is also nice.

Wonderful quilts, our furbabies are so selfish sometimes and just want all our attention. It just shows they love us and miss us.

I grew up in Castroville, played on the beach in Moss Landing. I loved going to Monterey on the weekends. Went to high school at Salinas High. I left the area when I was 17 and haven't been back there in ages. Now I live in Central Oregon with my husband and 3 dogs and one very pesky cat.

I have been through SLO, my family used to go camping down in Morro Bay. The PCH is a wonderful drive.
