Yes, my first quilt was her Log Cabin, been in love with stripping ever since.
I used to belong to a guild, that has Strippers in the name.

I can't wait to see it.
Our guild is going to make it for a winter project, I am thinking of doing a planned scrappy, or maybe blues, maybe blue scrappy would work. Hmmmmm.

I love the poofyness of your quilt. Will you share what batting you used? Very pretty and congratulate them for 50 years. Not everyone can do that.

The batting was from Joann's by the yard, I think 6 oz. Could have been 8 oz but I think it was 6 oz.

I am overwhelmed by all the comments!!!
I do have to tell you that I made this 5 years ago, their anniversary date. Then it took me 2 years to hand quilt it, so they got the top at their party and I took it back and finished it.
To be fair though my mom did the same thing to me the month before for my 25th anniversary. She had the top finished and the batting, backing pinned together and gave it to us that way, then took it back. She has bad arthritis in her back and neck and it took her 4 years to hand quilt mine. Guess it runs in the family. We are both enjoying our gifts now, except when I take hers to put in a show or to class, etc...She doesn't mind though, I do give it back.
Again thanks for the wonderful comments.
