Quilt Top For my wife

1 Attachment(s)
This is a WIP top for a quilt for my wife. I started out just sewing 2 inch squares together to just be doing something. When I had a block about 14 inches square she said she really liked it and asked that I make her a quilt like that. I'm still new so I had no idea what was ahead but here is the results of the top at least. May be obvious that there was no real plan; just kept sewing and trying different approaches. She is 'very' cold natured and wanted a warm quilt. So, I'm going to use warm and natural batting and fleece backing. That should be interesting to quilt :o.

I'm still having fun! I'll post more later when I finish.

Let's see if I can post a pic. If it goes through, it is a pic of a quilt I made a while back. I have named it "Hugs for Elyse". My DDILs neighbor is in the hospital very seriously ill. She was born with some defect (don't remember what) but when she was 8 she had a liver transplant. She is now about 20, and her heart is failing because of all the anti-rejection drugs, is due to have heart surgery this weekend, I believe. Anyway here is the quilt. So tried twice, both times saying "Upload failed", but don't know why.

Trying again with a different pic. Upload failed again. Anybody got any ideas. The files are Jpeg.
