I think I found it! Are they twisted log cabin triangles?

Look for a triangle instead of a square. there are 3 colors with a black triangle in the middle

I see the black triangles, though I don't see the logs after that. Also there's all the curved seams ... some PPing as part of the pattern, perhaps?

twisted log cabins don't use rectangular logs - they come out wedge shaped - and I think they are PP-ed

I saw this same quilt IRL at one of the fairs, and now wish I'd taken a closer look and perhaps found the owner to learn more.
