Texas State Fair 2014 quilts
 

Hi Everyone....thought you might like to see a few of the quilts from the Texas State Fair. I am afraid they are going to double post - as has been happening lately - for which i am sorry - but i don't know how to undo it. Hope you like the photos - it's difficult to get pictures as they are hung up so high. Please note the last one - was Best in Show and the quilting was simply unbelievable....i puzzled over it for a long time, because the back sure looks like it was done as a QAYG. It had everything....piecing, applique, embroidery.... I can only say that the squares around the inner border were definitely pieced. it was just too high up to see other details - like if the center medallion border was pieced...but there was embroidery in the borders.
