My daughter-in-law saw that I had some turquoise fabric leftover from the bow tucks tote and requested a clutch bag to carry to a wedding this weekend...thought I'd try out my texture magic to make it more interesting. We called the process shrinky-dink (remember that?). Since I was visiting her in Boston and didn't have my usual supply of snaps/velcro, I made a little strap to tuck the flap in to for closure.
The bow tucks bag is from pre-quilted fabric I'd purchased at Joann's (with some of the same turquoise fabric for the lining and trim). TM already sewn to fabric...now the magic Pre-shrink and post-shrink The clutch bag Bow Tucks tote from pre-quilted fabric Blk/wht lining to coordinate with her dress |

After that you sew your bag (or whatever) as you would normally. VERY easy and kinda cute! |
