Love the colors. I just completed a block with that very same pattern. I'm in the process of quilting it right now. It's part of a challenge. I've never done paper piecing and that's the challenge part.

Very nice! I love reds of any hue! Didn't see the other one so no basis for comparison, but like I said, its red,its great!

I really like this one better...it's a nice balance to the background fabric!! Lovin the whole block, and the background fabric in particular!
